General Policies & Procedures

1.     Your MONTHLY fee is due on the first (1st) of each month.

2.     A brand new "Free" Disc-Lock given to each tenant at the time of rental.

3.     We send a courtesy invoice via email and text message to occupant 7 days prior to the 1st.  To make your monthly payment on the 1st, please call the manager, pay online through our website or mail your payment to:

4.     We do not accept PayPal for monthly payments. When paying by a check or money order,  make out to “West Georgia Self Storage” referencing your unit number(s) and which location by Road name (Example - Beulah Church Rd or Old Bremen Rd).

5.     A late fee of $15.00 will be assessed if rent is not paid by midnight of the 7th of each month and gate access will be denied and your unit will be over-locked.  A second late Fee of $5.00 will be applied if total rent due is not paid by midnight of the 15th of each month.  If your total payment due is not received by the 28th, Pre-lien process may begin. This may include fees up to $225.00 up until the completion of Auction.

6.     A partial payment will not stop fees or official procedures of the Auction.  

7.     A $30 fee is automatically charged for all returned checks or disputed Credit and ACH, as well as any missing late fees. 

8.     We do not assume any liability for the goods you store. You are storing at your own risk. INSURANCE FOR YOUR STORED CONTENTS IS NEEDED TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT.

9.     Do not use the rental unit for anything but DEAD STORAGE. Do not store any flammable, explosive or illicit materials. The unit is to be used for storage only.  You may not store Food.

10.  The storage unit must be vacated on or before the last day of the month for which rent has been paid and all terms and conditions of this agreement are met by the tenant.

11.  We do require a 10 day notice of move-out.  The storage unit must be broom cleaned, emptied, door rolled down and in good condition - subject only to wear and tear - and ready to re-rent. Upon completely vacating your unit you must communicate with the office.  If you fail to clean unit as stated there will be an added fee of up to $100 to your account to cover cleanup expenses.

12.  Tenant's lock must be removed upon termination of occupancy. Failure to remove lock will result in your being charged the next month's rental and late fees. 

13.  We do not pro-rate when you vacate a unit. If your unit is not vacant on the first (1st) day of the month, a full month's rent is due. There are no exceptions! 

14.  Please leave drive isles clear of debris and be respectful of other tenants access to their unit.

15. It is your responsibility to keep us updated of any address changes and/or phone number changes.  Until we are notified in writing with your signature, the only valid address and phone number present is on the lease.  This is the only way we can contact you if any issue arises with your unit and account.

16.  After hours Emergency number is the main Rental # 770-830-7054.

      Gate access hours are from 5:00am to 11:00pm seven days a week.

17.   All policies and conditions in the Lease Agreement are enforced.
